If you are interested in coming and checking out our group, feel free to drop into one of our practices! If you would like to skate with us please make sure you bring the equipment you will need including skates, pads, a helmet, and a mouthguard.

Current Practice Infomation:

• Thursdays from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Practices are held in Clancy at the Old Gym. It is a yellow and orange-colored building on Schoolhouse Ln in Clancy, MT.

Hel’z Belles is always looking for new members! You can join at any time as a skater, referee, non-skating official (NSO), coach, or volunteer. If you want to be involved, contact us! helzbellesrd@gmail.com

New Skaters

We are actively recruiting new skaters and would love to have you join us. We will teach you everything you need to know—how to skate, stop, fall, and hit as well as the rules and strategy. We have some gear you can borrow to try out derby, but you must bring your own mouthguard.

NSOs

NSOs (non-skating officials) help games and scrimmages run smoothly. They keep score, time penalties, track penalties, time the game, and track the lineups.

Referees

Referees, or skating officials, skate around the track enforcing penalties and ensure safe and fair play.

Transferring Skaters

Are you moving to the Helena area? We welcome skaters transferring from other leagues.

Are you visiting the Helena area? Visiting skaters are welcome to drop in for $10 per practice.

Volunteers

Volunteers help with bouts, keep the league running smoothly, and are vital to our success. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer.
